Prosper IQ was born from a conversation at a cigar bar. Jesus Balderas and Ron Harrison kept seeing the
same pattern: small business owners working hard, generating revenue, but not getting ahead—because they
didn’t understand their financials, their tax strategy options, or how to grow their money and net profits.
We realized this wasn’t a work ethic problem—it was a knowledge and strategy gap. So we decided to solve it by
bringing a group of advisors together to arm business owners with the knowledge and action steps to
preserve, grow, and protect their money.
